Move over, Jennie Finch. There's a new softball hottie in town and she's burning up the Buzz. Arizona Wildcats pitcher Taryne Mowatt led her team to the title at the Women's College World Series and her magical arm (or pretty face?) was the center of attention.

The blonde flamethrower was a hit with searchers and queries on the hot hurler jumped an astonishing 5,412% this week. Her sparkling looks and awesome ability sent male searchers scrambling around the bases of Buzz—a full 83% of her interest was derived from dudes. Related queries on "taryne mowatt pictures," "taryne mowatt myspace," and "taryne mowatt wildcats" all soared after her clutch performance in the series clinching finale.

However, Mowatt wasn't the only Wildcat to score in Search. Teammates Caitlin Lowe, Adrienne Acton, and Callista Balko all made minor ripples after helping the 'Cats wrap up the softball title. Arizona's win helped "ncaa softball" break into our top 10 sports searches, and with the fetching Ms. Mowatt back on the mound next year, buzz will continue to blossom on the diamond.
